Like
many moms, I have asked, “How can I get my kids out of the house?”As a
homeschooling mom, I desire to do more than “just get out of the house.” I
actually want my children to learn something, spend quality time together, and
more specifically (though not always a requirement) a trip that will allows us
to count time towards school!
As
a result, I searched long and hard for various types of trips and outings in
the Metro area and our bordering states.
In my search, I did find a few websites that hosted a few links to
organizations that offered field trips, but I was look for a more comprehensive
list and it turns out that I had to create my own. This is a running list. As I
find more activities, I will update the list for you. My desire is that new
homeschool families have all the resources my little fingers can find and for
homeschooling families to get busy learning out of the house. Enjoy!
If you know of any activities to add, please contact me or leave in the comments section. Thank you in advance.
